Mulan is a Chinese animator, illustrator, and director. She currently studies at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, majoring in Film and Television and minoring in History.

​Being born and raised in Shanghai, Mulan travelled around the world throughout her teenage life, absorbing and loving the arts and cultures that she encountered. As an aspiring artist, she is constantly searching for new ideas, mediums, styles and possibilities, expanding her creativity into the worlds of illustration, animation, music and film.

Mulan’s independent animated and live-action shorts have won awards in international film festivals. She is thrilled to be continuing her journey through the artistic lens.
