When I first showed Bridgette the script for Mad Tide, I told her, “[The] fact of the matter is, yes, it is a lot and I’m not going to pretend like it isn’t, but just like the spirit of the film, I don’t want to give up or back down just because it’s scary and daunting. I think a large part of what makes our art form of animation unique is the amount of teamwork necessary, and hopefully through the production of this film we can not only create something beautiful but cultivate the spirits of all the crew to give them hope, experience, and have fun.” I am proud to say that we accomplished all of that and more. To anyone who doubts themselves and their dreams, just as I have, this is for you. I believe in you.
