Clara started her career in Paris at the International Sound and Image Institute (3IS). She worked as a journalist for Eurochannel where she covered the Cannes Film Festival and was part of the creative team at Sopeg, an innovative consumer electronics company in France. She also worked on several music videos. In 2011, she moved to New York to pursue an MFA in Directing at Columbia University. Subordinate is her ninth film.
