Originally from European Georgia Avtandil Chachibaia moved to the United States in 2009. He was working as freelance photographer/director for various companies including NBC Universal,Cosmopolitan and Playboy Magazines. His student film “Smell of Old House of Ours,” which he made while attending Brooklyn College, premiered at Cannes in 2012 and was a semi-finalist for the 2012 Student Academy Award. Avtandil is currently developing screenplay for his first full feature film to be shot in summer 2014.
