Suliya Gisele is a Black filmmaker living in Brooklyn, NY. After her six year stint in the fashion industry, studying and working as a model and fashion editor, she became inspired by the glamor of fashion films to start telling stories of her own. Often times many people were left unrepresented in the fashion industry which mirrors Hollywood. Gisele decided that her calling was to provide a platform telling stories of people who may otherwise get overlooked.
