Nicholas Colia recently received the 1st Place King Award at the NYU First Run Film Festival for his short film Alex and the Handyman, which will be having it’s festival premiere this summer 2017 at Palm Springs ShortFest and Outfest. Other recent short films by Colia include No Friends, Miriam Fond: Performance Coach (New Orleans Film Festival), Starring Roman (Outfest), and Untitled Short Film About White People. He will be spending his summer finishing writing two different TV pilots.
