About the Norman T. Strauss Award
Norman Strauss, Ph.D. - NBR Board member and history professor whose life was devoted to the pursuit and imparting of knowledge.
The Norman T. Strauss Award is an endowed prize given annually by the NBR to a student film that explores historically resonant themes.
The award is made possible through the generosity of the Strauss family, and honors the memory of Norman T. Strauss, Ph.D., a longtime member of the National Board of Review.
