By marrying a love for film and cycling, La Subida explores themes of home, the power of unity, geography, and personal traumas as we climb with some of Colombia’s most respected cyclists up one of the biggest mountains one could ride up.
A Miami-born, Cuban-raised, New York-based visual artist, Christian uses his global knowledge of cycling, hispanic heritage, and the world around him to influence the work he produces. He is deeply fascinated in making work about cycling differently than the industry standard by combining what he defines as successful visual art of all mediums with his own.
