Karnama (Well of Death) is a film that involves real subjects in a high-stakes setting. The subject is inherently appealing—a stunt act that defies gravity and is performed without safety is bound to draw attention. And so it did; first, it was a music video, and then a few commercials over the last few months. However, like every new popular subject, the Well of Death became a trend and was later forgotten, leaving an empty space where we could learn more about their lives. I aim to fill this void, to place a face and a three-dimensional world on the unparalleled stunt drivers of the Well of Death. I want people to feel the way I did when I first watched the act as a child. From Karnama (Well of Death), the audience gains insight into a new way of living life that many were previously unaware of, particularly in aspects that every human can empathize with.
